About the Course
Honeybee Strategies’ EPA Brownfields Job Training Program provides eligible participants with FREE training designed to prepare them for entry-level careers in environmental cleanup, hazardous waste operations, workplace safety, emergency response, and related fields. Participants receive hands-on instruction and earn valuable industry-recognized certifications, including 40-Hour HAZWOPER, OSHA Outreach, First Aid/CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and OSHA Disaster Site Worker training. The program combines safety education, practical skills, and career preparation to help participants build the confidence and qualifications needed to pursue meaningful employment while contributing to safer workplaces and healthier communities.

Libby Cornell and Sherry Callaway
Honeybee Strategies' instructors are experienced environmental health and safety professionals with extensive backgrounds in training, regulatory compliance, and workforce development. Together, they hold numerous professional credentials, including OSHA Outreach Instructor, Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), and Professional Geologist (PG). With more than a decade of experience teaching health and safety and serving nonprofit organizations, they combine real-world expertise with engaging instruction to help participants gain the knowledge and confidence needed to work safely.
